Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 she portrayed the lead role in several dramas on television. Her fame was due to her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning beautiful diva. Alexandra is engaged in numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. Some of these include British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also an official juror for the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
